Mark got a call this morning from a friend who had been hunting, and an hour later, we had a cooler full of bones. Ewwww.... But he cooked all day and now we have a freezer full of venison stock and wild boar stock, and tonight for dinner we had wine soup (with the venison stock), ribeyes, broccoli rabe, and risotto (with the boar stock). Well! And tomorrow night we're having pork chops (with wild boar demiglace), boulangerie potatoes and brussels sprouts with pancetta. Okay then!
When I married my husband, I got the best deal on the planet.
