Rooooooooooooad Trip!
The MO and I headed to Dallas this weekend with Prime Time Lou and the Fiberglass Badger to celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary with a trip to Ranger Stadium in Arlington to see a Rangers baseball game. (Okay, given the, um, lack of splendiforousness of the Rangers, it was really all about seeing the stadium.) Which was nice:
We had great seats:
1. Stadium, 2. Minnesota Twins Warming Up, 3. Minnesota Twins Warming Up, 4. Minnesota Twins Warming Up, 5. Stadium
Turns out the Rangers are not really a very good baseball team. (I'm trying to be nice here.) I think we saw as many errors there as we saw at G2's high school game last week. But we did get to see the Red Ozarka Dot wipe out in a spectacular way:
We also went to see the Turner exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art, which was really impressive. We did not, however, see the sculpture garden, because it was not included in the "see it all" pass we bought at the museum and we didn't feel like dropping $40 to fancify our stroll back to the car. This is what you can see from the outside:
All the photos are on flickr here :-)
